Keep the travelling spirit alive, even when you're home

Recently I've become more of an intrepid explorer in my local area, discovering a street full of brilliant contemporary art galleries on a non-descript street in Bethnal Green, east London, some great bars tucked away around Shoreditch and soaked up the sunshine at Columbia Rd Flower Market in London.

It's so easy to save that part of your adventurous spirit for when you travel abroad, but now I've become more inspired to get off my backside and explore more at home. This past year, I've done a fair amount of travel to some beautiful parts of the UK too - proves you don't have to travel far to keep the spirit alive!
